We move on to introducing and understanding in depth VX and VY coordinates. These will be used to control sprites, projectiles and to scroll the background. We will, as always, be following the Design Thinking process throughout the sessions. Therefore the children will have to think about who the target audience is for their game, build it, play-test it to check it works and let others play it. Finally, listen to and take onboard any feedback given and modify their game accordingly. So video game design, problem-solving and critical thinking skills all in one.
